Flower said I wish I was a tree the tree said I wish I could be a different kind of tree. Cat wish that it was a bee. The turtle wish that it could fly, really high into the sky, over rooftops and then dive deep into the sea.

And in the sea there is a fish, a fish that has a secret wish, a wish to be a big cactus with a pink flower on it. And the flower would be its offering of love to the desert. And the desert, so dry and lonely that all the creaters would appreciate the effort.

The rattlesnake said I wish I had hands so I can hug you like a man, the cactus said but dont you understand? My skin is covered with sharp spikes that will stab you like a thousand knifes, a hug would be nice but hug my flower with your eyes.

Tree hugger.

Guess what, I don't wish to be anyone else or anything else. Sure my life is not perfect, sure my life is busy, sure I get stressed up, sure life is hard but I love my life.

I no longer get free lunch. Ouch. Food is really expensive. If I had my way I'd rather eat air, at least it's free. My colleagues are a bunch of pretty cool people and the best thing is that they are young! Yes, most of them are fresh grads and the next best thing is that most of them have an overseas education so they have a lot of stories to share. And I don't think I can share everything they tell me here! But it's really cool because they all had a peak at an alternative lifestyle and it's all good and stuff but they all came back. None of them were on scholarships with bonds so they could have stayed in the US the UK or Australia yet they all came back. I should find out the main pulling and pushing reasons. College is really a time to go crazy and do all the crazy things but I think they all grew up in the process. Like making the transition from teenager to working adult. It's kind of scary when I think about it. College is like the time when you get to choose to make or break your future.

Rawr.

I am not in the mood to blog.

I see these stewardesses every morning and I think shoes are really important, they make or break the look and they also make you feel really different about yourself and your outfit at least I think so. So I'm inspired to go shoe shopping this weekend sunday. So I will come home with at least 2 pairs of fantastic heels.

Recently for the past 4 days I have been taking the train from Chao Chu Kang to Tenah Marah. On my long long long train ride I look and observe all the people around me and I have come to some conclusions.

1. Singaporeans don't dress up
Everyone looks the same. The clothes they wear are uninteresting and their expression is stone. It's like everyone on the train has this Look on their face. EVERYONE. Including myself. HAHA. It might be the lighting but everyone just looks tired and pale in the morning. Maybe they are all going to work so they don't bother to dress up and most people who dress up to work drive.

2. Singaporeans in the East wear thick eye shawdow and make-up
This is a trend I see everyday at Tenah Marah MRT. I start seeing these beautifully dressed ladies with heels and scary make-up. I figured they are air stewardesses due to the way they dress and the fact that they are near Changi and probably travelling there.

3. Squeeze Squeeze Squeeze
Commuters on MRT and buses are experts at this. They can really controt and push their bodies such that they get onto the train or bus split second before the door closes.

Goodbyes.

Goodbye messy desk.
Goodbye lousy datamini, dirty keyboards and runaway mouse.
Goodbye pantry with assortment of biscuits.
Goodbye toilet with air refreshener that I use before entering and where I spend 1/5 of my time at work in.
Goodbye carpetted floor where my bare feet often step/jump/run on.
Goodbye long boring hours.
Goodbye freezing messed-up storeroom.
Goodbye fantastic automated photocopying machine.
Goodbye fun paper shredder.
Goodbye datamini speakers that kept me alive.
Goodbye nice lovely colleagues.
Goodbye ugly evil colleagues.
Goodbye Lotus Notes.
Goodbye waking up at 6am.
Goodbye waking up at 7am.
Goodbye walking to office in nice beautiful mornings where office is the last place on earth I would rather be.
Goodbye morning tea and breakfast with daddy.
Goodbye constantly checking big digital clock to see if it's end of the day.
Goodbye noisy scanner.
Goodbye funky printers both coloured and black and white.

This is like number one on my list of things I need to get. I just love it for its sense of style. Like it can stand alone and full stop. I love the some bits of leather detail too. Loving it, wanting it and really getting it are different issues altogether. Nonetheless I will get something like it if I can find it out there. Much <3.

I love this too. 'Cause it seems to say: Don't come near me, go away. And I can think of 100 times when I will need this. Everyone hates jammed pack MRT trains. From Jurong East to Bukit Batok the train is always full to the brim. It's like you almost cannot breath and you are surrounded in a wall of human beings and being squashed. That is when I need this pair of sunglasses because I want to roll my eyes and make funny faces without anyone noticing. Thank god the train about empties at Bukit Batok and commuters get a breather and some personal space.
